Floyd General Purpose Gauges are the ASG Series. This range can be used indoors, outdoors and is suitable for harsh environments. Designed & manufactured to minimize failure, and for an economically priced gauge has all the requirements needed. Full Stainless Steel construction offers resistance against chemicals, weather and corrosion. Long Lasting Movement and durable construction. Can be supplied Dry or Liquid Filled – Dual Scale kPa/PSI as Standard although they can be manufactured with Other Scales, Custom Logo, Red Lines, coloured bands or sectors.
Floyd Industrial Pressure Gauges are PBX Series with Brass connection and wetted parts. Mainly for Industrial applications where accuracy and stability are important. Best suited for liquid or gaseous substances within non-corrosive application where the medium won’t attack brass or bronze. Full Stainless Steel for harsh environments.
Can be supplied Dry or Liquid Filled – Single Scale kPa or Dual Scale kPa/PSI as Standard although they can be manufactured with Other Scales, Custom Logo, Red Lines, Coloured bands or Sectors
Floyd Heavy Duty Pressure Gauges are Floyd PBX Series with Full Stainless Steel Casing and wetted parts. These gauges are well suited to harsh environments – can be supplied dry or to eliminate vibration liquid filled. Strong resistance to shock and IP65 rated.
Liquid filled pressure gauges provide users with a number of advantages in certain applications. They are ideally suited for use on equipment where excessive vibration and pulsation are encountered such as pumps, compressors and machine tools etc. The liquid fill minimizes the effect of these severe environments, protects the gauge internals and provides continuous lubrication in the mechanism, all adding up to extended service life. Liquid filling provides greater protection of the gauge internals from corrosive atmospheres.
Floyd Low Pressure Gauges are operated by a capsule system. Suitable to be used on air and some gases, vacuum offered with Stainless Steel casing and brass connections for non-corrosive applications however stainless steel wetted parts available on request. Pressure ranges from -2.5 kPa up to 0-60 kPa.
Floyd Refrigeration Gauges apply to pressure and temperature, used on industrial refrigeration equipment and suitable for all refrigeration gases. Dual scale showing inner pressure in black and outer temperature in red. Available in Stainless Steel cases - dry or liquid filled. Two different mountings available, surface mount with a back flange or flush with a 3 hole fixing front flange. Dial sizes 63mm or 100mm
Floyd Safety Pattern Pressure Gauges are generally used in the gas industry. Constructed of a front baffle wall, Perspex window and a blow out disc in the read of the case designed to protect the operator from any projectiles in case of a bourdon tube rupture. Dial sizes 100mm and 150mm – Pressure ranges up to 100,000 kPa
XP2i DIGITAL TEST GAUGE
The 2nd generation XP2i is a very rugged, intrinsically safe, digital pressure gauge with 0.1% of reading accuracy.
New nickel plated aluminum enclosure is sealed to IP67 (waterproof to 1 meter), backlight is twice as bright, but batteries last just as long, 10% larger LCD window for a larger viewing angle, internal pressure is equalized by a GORE-TEX® filter
All XP2i gauges are now CSA, IECEx and ATEX certified intrinsically safe, captures open and reseat values for Pressure Safety Valve (PSV) testing. Optional pressure datalogging capability, Torque and force measurement capable and it’s simple to use
CERTIFICATES OF CALIBRATION
Floyd Instruments can provide either an in-house NATA traceable Test Report or a NATA Certificate of Calibration.
Calibration TEST REPORT (NATA Traceable) is suitable when calibration is performed on an instrument that is used for indication purposes only and does not require the reporting of the uncertainty of measurement. The reference Test Gauge must have been certified by a NATA Laboratory within the past 12 months and be 4x more accurate than the gauge being evaluated. The Test Report will refer to the Test Gauge’s NATA certificate therefore making it NATA Traceable.
Full NATA CERTIFICATION is when a gauge is certified by a NATA accredited laboratory. All uncertainties of the measurements performed are reported within the NATA calibration report. Instruments should be certified by a NATA accredited laboratory if they are going to be used as references for any other instruments.
